Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has adjusted the prices of the Montero Sport. MMPC has also made a slight revamp on the available Montero Sport variants.
Mitsubishi Montero Sport Black Series
The entry-level Mitsubishi Montero Sport GLX 4x2 MT is the only variant that was not affected by the said price adjustment. It still retails at Php 1,568,000, which comes with a six-speed manual transmission, 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with Bluetooth, cruise control, among others.
The movement in price tag starts with the Montero Sport GLS 4x2 AT trim as it gets an increase of Php 43,000 from its previous retail price at Php 1,728,000. With the said price adjustment, the GLS 4x2 AT now comes with a price tag of Php 1,771,000.
Similar to other Montero Sport AT variants, the GLS 4x2 features an eight-speed automatic transmission with Sports Mode. It also gets an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, which is also found in higher Montero Sport variants.

Interestingly, MMPC has dropped the Montero Sport GT 4x2 AT from the variant lineup based on its official website. It now has the Montero Sport Black Series, a variant that previously slotted between the GLS 4x2 AT and the range-topping GT 4x4 AT. The Montero Sport Black Series is integrated with blacked-out design details that differentiate itself from other variants. It is priced at Php 2,025,000.
The top-spec Montero Sport GT 4x4 AT also gets an increase of Php 43,000. Its old price is at Php 2,341,00, and with the price movement, it now retails at Php 2,341,000.
