As we enter the early stages of 2022, MG Philippines wants to bring its model lineup closer to Filipino car buyers. To do that, the company rolled out the “Extraordinary Start” promo, which offers cash discounts and flexible payment schemes on its vehicles including the MG ZS.

Under the “Extraordinary Start” promo, the MG ZS is available with a cash discount promo of Php 100,000 for the top-of-the-line 1.5L AT Alpha variant. The base 1.5L MT Style and mid 1.5L AT Style variants also come with a Php 90,000 price cut each.
The MG ZS is the British-bred automaker’s entry to the subcompact crossover segment. With the top-spec variant, customers can benefit from exclusive exterior features such as 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof.
Inside, the ZS 1.5L AT Alpha comes with MG-leather style seats, sporty leather steering wheel, electronic climate control, and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay. Safety-wise, the said variant is equipped with six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Brake Disc Wiping (BDW), among others.
MG ZS-T
Powering the subcompact crossover is a 1.5-liter inline-4 DOHC gasoline engine as standard, producing 112 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. The base ZS MT Style utilizes a 5-speed manual transmission, while the rest of the variants come with a 4-speed automatic transmission with Manual Tiptronic Function.
For those who want more power out of their crossover, the new MG ZS-T, which is the model’s turbocharged version, is also included in the “Extraordinary Start” promo. It is available with a Php 35,000 cash discount that can be used to reduce the suggested retail price (SRP) at Php 1,158,888.

The MG ZS 2023 is a 5-seater subcompact crossover that is available in the Philippines in four variants. MG ZS 2023 Philippines price is from Php 848,888 to Php 1,198,888. Under the hood is a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated inline-4 gasoline engine capable of making 112 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the flagship ZS-T gets a 1.3-liter inline-3 turbocharged gasoline engine good for 109 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque. Included in the gearbox options are 5-speed manual, 4-speed automatic, and 6-speed automatic transmissions.
In terms of size, the ZS spans 4,314 mm in length, 1,809 mm in width, and 1,648 mm in height, with a wheelbase rated at 2,585 mm. In the local market, this British-bred subcompact crossover competes against the likes of the Ford EcoSport, Mazda CX-3, and Geely Coolray.
