MG Philippines is offering enticing deals under its ‘Extraordinary Promos,’ which aims to provide mobility to Filipinos in this season of vacations and road trips. One of the models included in the promo is the MG 5 Core Plus, the newest variant of the subcompact sedan introduced at the 2022 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).
MG 5 Core Plus
Under the ‘Extraordinary Promos,’ the MG 5 Core Plus is made available with a cash discount of Php 55,000. This means that the model can now be availed of at a much more affordable Php 683,888, from the Php 738,000 SRP (suggested retail price). A low down payment deal of Php 63,000 is also included for the sedan in the promo.
The MG 5 Core Plus is based on the mid-spec CVT Core, coming with new features such as a 10-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and two more speakers. It is also now equipped with a reverse camera which can help drivers back their sedan up into a parking space more easily.
Powering the vehicle is the standard 1.5-liter inline-4 gasoline engine capable of generating 112 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. MG Philippines equipped the new variant with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which is said to be generally more fuel-efficient as compared to those types that utilize gears.
