Recently, the much-anticipated Mercedes-Benz X-Class pickup has been available for sale in the UK in three variants: Pure, Progressive and Power.

The base X-Class Pure gets new grille with matte black finish flanked by halogen headlamps, new rear bumper with integrated step, 17-inch steel wheels, semi-automatic air-conditioning system and refreshed glossy back details in the cabin.
For the mid-spec Progressive, it is given aluminum door sills with Mercedes-Benz badges, heated exterior mirrors, chrome door handles and new radiator adorned with iridium silver matte finish. The inside comes fitted with aluminum trim and black fabric upholstery, new interior mirror with compass function, chrome air vents as well as illuminated sun visors.

The top-of-the-line Power receives more spoils containing LED lighting system, advanced exterior mirrors, 18-inch alloys, new air intakes and keyless entry.

What’s more, the new pickup also shares hardware components with Nissan models. Accordingly, there are two engine options available: a 163-hp 2.3-liter X220d 4Matic and a bigger 190-hp X250d 4Matic. For the first engine, a 6-speed manual transmission is the only choice of the Pure and Progressive models while the latter comes with a 7-speed automatic gearbox and is offered for all variants. Furthermore, latest car news also suggests that an X350d 4Matic V6 engine will become a part of the lineup in mid-2018.
