Recently, the Mazda 6 2018 facelift has been previewed in Malaysia, preparing for its official launch in the country.
The car now comes available in 4 versions including a 188 hp/450 Nm 2.2L diesel sedan, a 162 hp/213 Nm 2.0L petrol sedan, a 192 hp/258 Nm 2.5L petrol station wagon and a 192 hp/258 Nm 2.5 litre petrol sedan. All versions are equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Walking around, the front fascia gets a new arrangement between the grille and the headlights. The former is now located beneath the latter, instead of being positioned above them as used in the previous model.
Besides, the Mazda 6 2018 facelift features fresh LED daytime running lamps with tweaked graphics, new front bumper equipped with the CX5’s ‘whiskers’ and an all-new 19’’ wheel, plus 225/45R19 tires. the base 2.0L version receives 225/55R17 tires.
All versions come adorned with automatic LED headlights with LED daytime running lamps and LED tail lights. Meanwhile, sedan versions get LED rear fog lights and the station wagon has bulbed ones.

Stepping inside, the 2.0L is offered a standard 4.6’’ TFT LCD screen while others in the lineup is added a heads-up display and a color screen. Besides, a MZD Connect system, multi-function Commander Control switchgear, an 8’’ full color touchscreen are also available in the cabin.
The entry-level 2.0L sedan has a 6-speaker sound system while others receive a 11-speaker Bose unit.
The Mazda 6 2018 facelift is armed with 6 airbags, auto hold, emergency stop signal, ISOFIX child seat anchor points, stability control, hill launch assist, traction control, ABS, brake assist and EBD.
