Maxus PH offers top-spec G50 Premium with P50K cash discount

Maxus Philippines has one for those who are in the market for their next family vehicle with cash discounts on its MPV entry, the G50.

Dubbed as the “Max Madiskarte,” the top-of-the-line Maxus G50 Premium is available with a cash discount promo of Php 50,000. With the price cut, you can now take home the spec’d out model of the Chinese MPV for Php 1,288,000. Of note, the said cash discount is available until September 30, 2022. 

The Maxus G50 Premium is equipped with automatic LED headlights, daytime running lights (DRLs), auto-folding and power-adjust side mirrors, a panoramic sunroof, and a power tailgate. Moving to the cabin, passengers benefit from the 8-seating configuration finished in leather, a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a wireless charger.

It offers an 8-seater cabin

Powering the MPV is a 1.5-liter inline-4 turbocharged gasoline engine capable of generating 167 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. It sends power exclusively to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Parking is also made easier thanks to the vehicle’s 360-degree panoramic camera with parking sensors.

If you are considering getting the lower variants, do note that the Maxus G50 1.5 AT Pro gets a Php 103,000 discount, while the G50 1.5 AT Elite is offered with a price cut of Php 103,000. The MPV also comes with a 5-year warranty or 100,000 km (whichever comes first) and free 24/7 Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA), among others.

Maxus G50

The Maxus G50 is an eight-seater midsize MPV. In the Philippine market, this model is available in four different variants. There’s the G50 Comfort, the G50 Pro, the G50 Elite, and the top-spec G50 Premium. These range in price from Php 948,000 to Php 1,338,000. 

Under the hood, the G50 gets two engine options. The entry-level comfort uses a 1.3-liter turbo ineline-3 engine capable of making up to 161 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. The Pro, Elite, and Premium meanwhile, come standard with a 1.5-liter inline-4 turbo mill that can produce up to 167 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. 

The Comfort variant then uses a five-speed manual gearbox, meanwhile, the 1.5-liter inline-4 variants uses a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. 

Locally, the Maxus G50 competes against the likes of the Toyota Innova. It also goes against other seven-seater models sold locally like the Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander cross, Suzuki Ertiga, Geely Okavango, etc.
