Let’s take a first look at the sporty Hyundai Sonata 2020!

Hyundai has recently unveiled the first photos of the 8th-gen Hyundai Sonata 2020 which is a special sedan that now comes with a distinctly 4-door coupe look. It gets the Sensuous Sportiness design concept which is also used in the Le Fil Rouge Concept. Overall, the new model has a distinctive look that sets its apart from prvious generations, like the Hyundai Sonata 2015 for example. 

The new Sonata measures 25 mm wider, 30 mm lower and 45 mm longer. It gets a wider wheelbase with 35 mm added. Besides, a low deck lid, a sloping roofline and short overhangs are also equipped.

Especially, the Hyundai Sonata 2020 is now adorned with “Digital Pulse Cascading Grille” which comes with rhythmic visuals, earning the car a sporty look. Additionally, the Hidden Lighting Lamps are also offered as a must-have feature of a Hyundai model. Meanwhile, the rear comes outstanding with full-width heckblende taillamps.

Getting inside, the Hyundai Sonata 2020 showcases a Stealth aircraft - inspired interior. The dashboard’s overall height has been narrowed to bring more lightweight feeling for users while some unnecessary screens are also removed to lessen visual distractions.

So now the car gets 2 displays using a common S curve. The two are seamless, available with capacitive touch buttons and have no parting lines. Other impressive features include shift-by-wire transmission controls to widen cargo space and a satin chrome accent placed on the steering wheel.
