In partnership with Sony Pictures, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 will appear in the new movie, which opens in cinemas worldwide starting in June. Both models are underpinned by the brand’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), with the Ioniq 6 being the larger model of the Ioniq line.
Hyundai will also bring the Prophecy concept and its hydrogen-powered truck to action. The former will be seen flying in the Spider-Verse, showcasing its streamlined and futuristic styling. Meanwhile, the hydrogen-powered truck is one of the brand’s initiatives to achieve carbon neutrality.

As mentioned earlier, Hyundai is hands-on in bringing its cars to different film sets. One of the latest campaigns was at Uncharted (2022), where the Tucson Beast concept was introduced. To jog one’s memories, the latter is a more rugged version of the Korean brand’s crossover and it is equipped with off-road-oriented parts such as a snorkel, a roof rack, and bolt-on fenders, among others.
