It is expected to drop by the first half of 2021.

It wasn’t long ago when Hyundai Motor gave a sneak peek of the all-new Hyundai Starex. The redesigned model, now named the Staria, looks way more modern thanks to its ambitious styling such as the horizontal daytime running light strip and massive distinct grille.

Now, Hyundai Motor decided to fully reveal the details of the Staria’s interior and exterior features. According to the Korean carmaker, the Hyundai Staria is based on an ‘inside-out’ approach, a new design language for future mobility that begins the design process with the interior and expands it to the exterior.

The ‘inside-out’ approach provides passengers a sense of a well-thought interior space. The Hyundai Staria is installed with expansive panoramic windows that create a spacious interior feel, complemented with lower belt lines that run across the length of the MPV. These design cues are inspired by the traditional Korean architectural style known as hanok.

A more innovative driving experience

As for the seating configuration, the Hyundai Staria is available from 2-seater to 11-seater, depending on the mobility needs of customers. The Hyundai Staria Premium, the model’s high-end variant, is available in 7, 9, and 11 seating configurations with the inclusion of exclusive design cues and interior upgrades.

Drivers of the all-new Hyundai Staria also get more advanced updates starting with the futuristic-looking 10.25-inch infotainment screen. It also comes with a digital cluster screen that sits on top of the dashboard, creating an innovative driving feel and an unobstructed view.

Going to the exterior features, Hyundai says that the design of the Staria is inspired by the halo that illuminates the Earth’s horizon during sunrise when viewed from space. The headlamps are positioned beside the wide grille to make room for the full-width LED daytime running light. The rear-end is installed with distinct vertical tail lamps and the rear bumper is lowered for easier loading/unloading of cargo.
