Honda finds ways to keep mobility safer
The latest offering from the Japanese automaker is its new and upgraded PM2.5+ cabin air filter. It is said to help customers win the battle versus COVID-19 and all its variants. Until October 20, the latest PM2.5+ cabin filter gets a discount of 19 percent, which cuts the price to only Php 950 including VAT.
Ensuring 90 to 99 percent protection from dreadful viruses and bacteria, the upgraded PM2.5+ cabin air filter is designed with a dust-collecting filter that delivers a high collection efficiency. It can effectively filter various harmful particles such as dust, volcanic ash, molds, outside emissions, and cigarette smoke.

In addition, the Honda air filter gets a new anti-microbial coating, providing a faster way of eliminating viruses and bacteria. It releases Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) that allows germicidal effect in the proximal area of the coating. As a result, the filter stays clean as microbial adhesion on the surface of the filter is prevented.
Aside from the new PM2.5+ cabin filter, HCPI is also offering the “Modern-Day Heroes” promo. It is rolled out to provide partially and fully vaccinated customers discounts on various services and parts. This is an initiative of the car brand to appreciate the heroic acts of its customers to help curb the COVID-19 cases in the country.
Customers can make their Honda vehicles safer
Some of these discounts include a cabin disinfection worth Php 680 only, a free 30-point safety check-up, and a 10-percent discount voucher for preventive maintenance service (PMS). And just like the discounted PM2.5+ cabin filter, the “Modern-Day Heroes” promo has a promo duration that will last until October 20, 2021.

The 2024 Honda CR-V is a midsize crossover SUV. For the Philippine market, it has three variants: the V Turbo CVT, VX Turbo CVT, and the RS e:HEV (hybrid) e-CVT.
The latest version of this Honda model has two different engine options. For the top-spec hybrid trim, it uses a 2.0-liter gasoline four-banger paired with a dual motor and lithium-ion battery. The combustion component alone produces up to 145 horsepower and 183 Nm of torque. The electric-powered component meanwhile, can churn out 181 horsepower and 335 Nm of torque.
Aboard the V and VX trims meanwhile is a 1.5-liter inline-4 engine that can churn out 187 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque.
Only the VX gets all-wheel-drive, while the rest are front-wheel-drive. All trims then use a continuously variable transmission (CVT), but the one on the hybrid trim is an electronic CVT (e-CVT).
In terms of dimensions, the all-new CR-V is 4,691mm long, 1,866mm wide, and 1,681mm (1,691mm for VX) in height. Both the hybrid and the V’s wheelbase then spans 2,701mm (2,700mm for VX).
Locally, the Honda CR-V competes against the likes of the Mazda CX-9, Cherry Tiggo 8 Pro, Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe, Peugeot 5008, etc.
