The TRAIN law, as previously predicted, has helped the prices of pickups plunge significantly. The new sales figures released by Ford Philippines has shown a big interest in this segment and the number’s still expected to increase more.
The report reads Ford has sold a whopping 1,836 cars in April alone. Among the significant figures, the Ford Ranger accounts for 798 units delivered to customers. In other words, there’s up to about 43.5 percent of April sales coming from pickups. On the other hand, figures recorded since the beginning of the year discloses that Ford Philippines has successfully delivered 3,306 Rangers, adding to a total number of 8,284 unit ever sold.

Getting behind the Ford Ranger are the Ford EcoSport (472) and the Ford Everest (499). Shockingly, the new Ford Mustang, just released in April, has joined the top sales figures with 40 units.
Bert Lessard, the Managing Director of Ford Philippines, said in confidence that they are positive of the overall outlook for the rest of the year. He also promises the company will keep their focus on improving the ownership experience with improved services aimed at providing customers with more convenience.
