Ford PH to arrive in Cebu for Ranger, Everest test drive event

Ford Philippines is heading to Cebu for the next stop of its Ford Island Conquest (FIC) nationwide test drive event.

The upcoming event will be FIC’s fifth leg, following the fourth leg held at SM City Davao last October 7 to 9. As always, visitors can get to know more about the Blue Oval company’s car model lineup including the next-generation iterations of the Ranger and Everest.

Serving as the brand’s entry into the pickup truck market, the Ford Ranger comes with a more rugged look similar to its larger sibling, the F-150. It is also one of the best-selling models of Ford Philippines for the longest time including last September with 1,311 units sold.

Meanwhile, the Ford Everest is a 7-seater midsize SUV that Filipino families should check out at FIC’s Cebu stop. It carries a similar design to the Ranger, exuding ruggedness from the front to the back. Both the Everest and Ranger are available in either a 2.0-liter single-turbo diesel or a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine.

Customers who will make a reservation at the 3-day event are entitled to pick a prize when they reserve the Everest, Everest, Territory, Mustang, and Explorer. Take note that over Php 2 million worth of cash discounts and prizes are up for grabs. In addition, customers who will avail of a financing program through bank partners BPI or EastWest for the aforementioned Ford cars will get an additional Php 15,000 cash discount.

“We are excited to bring our Ford Island Conquest event to Cebu City and give more customers and enthusiasts the chance to check out and test drive our next-generation Ford vehicles,” said Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen.

“We’re definitely encouraged with the great results and positive feedback from our previous FIC legs, and we intend to sustain the momentum with our fifth FIC leg in Cebu and a few more planned roll-outs before the end of the year,” added Breen.

The upcoming FIC leg in Cebu will happen at the SM Seaside Cebu from October 28 to 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
