Ford did not put an ST badge on the Edge SUV for no reason. The performance SUV truly gains more power compared to the Sport version regardless of having the same 2.7-litre EcoBoost V6 with which the new model cranks out 335 HP and 380 pound-feet. Before bringing thit hot SUV to the dealerships this summer, the Blue Oval decides to stir up enthusiast circles again by revealing the new Sport mode feature.
Accordingly, to kick-start the Ford Edge ST 2019, all you have to do is clicking the S button in the middle of the gear shift. The blue electronic instrument cluster turns to a red tachometer alongside a gear indicator. It seems the carmaker does not really focus on the exhaust which becomes more aggressive but the coming of an active noise reduction system brings more sound to the cabin. The most desired equipment in this model must be the 8-speed automatic transmission and the 335-HP engine.
