All-new Chevrolet Trax to arrive at five malls for Roadshow Series

Chevrolet Philippines announced that the all-new Trax is arriving at malls in Luzon via the Trax Roadshow Series.

The Trax Roadshow Series is highlighting what the next-gen Chevrolet Trax can offer to Filipino car buyers. With a larger and bolder-looking exterior, the compact crossover exudes styling that should demand attention from mallgoers. It is 279 mm longer and 51 mm wider than the outgoing model.

Inside, the Trax is available with a five-seating cabin, an 11-inch infotainment touchscreen, a perforated leather-style steering wheel, and an eight-inch digital instrument cluster. The base LT has a jet-black interior with blue accents, while the mid-spec Redline and top-spec RS have red accents instead.

Powering the vehicle is a 1.2-liter inline-three turbocharged engine with 137 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque. It sends power exclusively to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission only.

Now in its second-gen form

What mallgoers can expect to look forward to is the model’s comprehensive advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), which comes standard across the range. It provides functions including forward collision alert, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, enhanced front pedestrian detection, low-speed imminent collision brake, and vehicle forward movement detection, among others.
