Changan PH to hold series of mall displays starting at SM Megamall

Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) announced a series of mall displays that will showcase three of its models to mall-goers.

Changan CS55 Plus

The list of models that will grace the company’s “Wow Changan Grand Holiday Mall Display” are the all-new CS55 Plus, CS35 Plus, and Alsvin. We are already familiar with the Alsvin and CS35 Plus, which are the Chinese automaker’s entries into the subcompact sedan and subcompact crossover markets, respectively.

But the Changan CS55 Plus compact crossover is a newcomer that will look to wow mallgoers with its futuristic design and features. At the front, the CS55 Plus is fitted with a 3D-looking grille flanked by sleek LED headlamps. Over to the back and you will see a unique spoiler fitted with the vehicle’s third brake lamps.

Changan Alsvin

In terms of features, passengers get to enjoy a fully digital 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Mirror Link. Safety is also superb as it is equipped with Safe-Tech driver-assist systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and auto emergency braking, among others.

The 2023 Changan CS55 Plus is powered by a 1.5-liter Blue Core NE15 turbocharged gasoline engine capable of churning out 185 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), sending power exclusively to the front wheels.

Changan CS35 Plus

You can experience driving the Changan CS55 Plus, as well as the Alsvin and CS35 Plus, by requesting a test drive at the participating malls. For your reference, here is the schedule of the Wow Changan Grand Holiday Mall Display:

• November 17 to 23 at SM Megamall
• December 1 to 7 at SM Mall of Asia
• December 15 to 18 at Uptown Mall, BGC

To note, the three Changan crossovers will be present at the mall displays except for the CS35 Plus, which won’t make the Uptown Mall stop.
