Changan Philippines, in partnership with BPI Family Savings Bank, Inc., rolled out the “Kailangan, Changan” sales promo that offers flexible payment schemes on some of its models. To note, the said promo will run until September 30, 2021.

Under the “Kailangan, Changan” promo, the Changan Alsvin 1.4L 5MT base variant is available with Php 361 per day payment, equivalent to Php 10,823 net monthly amortization. Moving up one variant, the Alsvin 1.5L DCT is offered with Php 402 per day with a net monthly payment of Php 12,051. Lastly, the top-spec Alsvin 1.5L DCT Platinum gets Php 429 per day, amounting to Php 12,869 net monthly amortization.

The Changan Alsvin is the brand’s entry to the subcompact sedan segment, rivaling the Toyota Vios, Hyundai Reina, among others. It can be powered by either a 1.4-liter engine that makes 99 hp and 135 Nm of torque, or a 1.5-liter engine that is capable of generating 106 hp and 145 Nm of torque.

Take note that the said Alsvin exclusive deals are based on a 20-percent downpayment with a monthly payment scheme for 60 months.

For those who are in the market for a subcompact crossover, the Changan CS35 Plus is available with a low monthly payment scheme of Php 21,872 for 60 months, including a 20-percent down payment of Php 213,800. It comes with a 1.4-liter engine that makes 156 hp and 234 Nm of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) is used as a standard.

The last Changan model with an exclusive deal under the “Kailangan, Changan” sales promo is the CS75 Plus compact crossover. It gets a Php 25,938 monthly amortization for 60 months with a 20-percent down payment of Php 259,800.

Changan Philippines re-entered the Philippine market with five car models. Among the cars launched by Changan is the Alsvin, a five-seater subcompact sedan that goes up against the likes of the Kia Soluto, Toyota Vios, among others. 

The Alsvin is available in three variants with a choice of a five-speed manual or a five-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The exterior of the Changan Alsvin has a simple yet distinctive exterior design. All variants of the Alsvin are fitted with sweptback projector halogen headlights. The top-spec Alsvin Platinum variant, on the other hand, comes with LED daytime running lights along with a chrome grille.

Turning at the side, all Alsvin variants feature side mirror repeaters. It also has decent-looking wheels that can either come in a set of 15-inch or 14-inch alloys, depending on the variant. The Alsvin’s rear is fitted with large taillights, a wide bumper, and a shark fin antenna that comes as standard.

The Changan Alsvin features a dark interior theme along with splashes of silver trims. The aircon vents come with a round design on the corners while a horizontal layout can be seen at the one fitted on the middle of the dashboard. The Alsvin subcompact sedan also has a flat-bottomed steering wheel with integrated controls.  

The two lower variants of the Alsvin have fabric seats while the top-spec Platinum trim comes in leather. The driver’s seat also varies depending on the specific Alsvin variant. The lower trims get a 4-way manual adjustment while the top trim has a 6-way manual adjustment. The Alsvin Philippines can accommodate up to five occupants.

When it comes to tech features, the Changan Alsvin 2024 is integrated with several notable toys. Coming as standard on all variants are the following: power door locks, power side mirror adjustment, a 7-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and a multifunction steering wheel, among others. The top-spec Alsvin Platinum exclusively gets a power sunroof and a cruise control feature.     

Safety-wise the Alsvin is equipped with dual front airbags, an anti-lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution, a reverse camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Depending on the variant, the Alsvin can also come with the following: electronic stability control, hill hold control, blind-spot monitor, and rear parking sensors.

The new Changan Alsvin 2024 comes with a McPherson front suspension while torsion beams are fitted on the rear. In terms of braking power, the Alsvin has ventilated disc brakes on the front while the rear gets drum brakes.
