As the summertime approaches, automakers have started to offer car deals so Filipinos can drive a brand new unit for their vacations or long road trips. Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) is one of the latest to join the wave as it is championing the Alsvin as a ‘trusty road companion’ for this season.

Under CMPI’s Alsvin Summer Promo, the Changan Alsvin’s top-of-the-line Platinum variant is available with a cash discount deal of Php 105,000. It can be used to cut the model’s price to just Php 634,000 from the Php 739,000 SRP (suggested retail price).
For the price, Filipino car buyers can take home a subcompact sedan loaded with tech features. Some of the Platinum-exclusive features include LED daytime running lights, cruise control, a power sunroof, four speakers, a reverse camera with auxiliary lines, leather seats, and an idle start-stop system.

The Changan Alsvin is also capable of taking passengers long distances this summer with its fuel-efficient powertrain. In a fuel economy run held by CMPI and the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP), the sedan managed to register 22.023 km/l. Meanwhile, it can deliver a 9.369 km/l fuel efficiency rating in the city.
Powering the sedan is a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine good for 106 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. The Platinum variant uses a 5-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, while the base variant gets a 5-speed manual along with a slightly smaller 1.4-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine.

Speaking of the base variant, the Alsvin Summer Promo offers the entry-level Alsvin 1.4L 5MT with a cash discount of Php 90,000 off from the Php 629,000 SRP. The mid-spec Alsvin 1.5L 5DCT is also up for grabs with a cash discount of Php 95,000 off from the Php 689,000 SRP.
To note, the Alsvin Summer Promo is available until May 15, 2022, only. It includes the brand’s Vital 5 aftersales package which includes a 5-year/150,000-km mileage warranty, Changan Pacesetter roadside assistance and towing services, Changan Fastlane’s 60-minute service, Changan Veloservice, and Changan’s AI Chatbot (CAIA).

Changan Philippines re-entered the Philippine market with five car models. Among the cars launched by Changan is the Alsvin, a five-seater subcompact sedan that goes up against the likes of the Kia Soluto, Toyota Vios, among others.
The Alsvin is available in three variants with a choice of a five-speed manual or a five-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The entry-level model Alsvin comes with a 1.4-liter gasoline engine while the other variants are equipped with a 1.5-liter power unit. Changan Alsvin Philippines's price starts at Php 654,000 while the top-of-the-line Platinum variant has a sticker price of Php 794,000.
Some of the notable features of the Changan Alsvin are the following: sunroof, cruise control, blind-spot, and rear cameras, tire pressure monitoring system, and leather seats.
