CAMPI and TMA has released their reports on auto sales in the country.
According to the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA), new vehicles sales in the country grew 7.5 percent to 27,040 units from 25,150 units in the same month in 2016.

Sales of some non-affiliated car manufactures including Hyundai, Chevrolet and Subaru were not included in the data by the CAMPI/TMA. GDP growth in 2016 was 6.8%, with low interest rates driving domestic consumption and investment growth.
Total vehicles sales in the first two months of 2017 were 57,465 units, recording a 17.4 percent higher than the 48,958 units sold during the same period last year.
Toyota Motor Philippines Inc. remained the market leader with a 39% volume rise to over 27,200 units. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines was second with 9,700 units. Ford Motor Philippines emerged as the third biggest seller at just over 4,000 units in this period, followed by Honda Car Philippines Inc. with 3,900 units (+5.2%). Isuzu Corp. captured the fifth spot with 3,200 units (-32%).
