After a series of spy shots including the one in Thailand, Ford Motor Company finally confirms the global launch of the all-new Everest. To give fans something to look forward to, the Blue Oval company rolled out a 20-second teaser video of the new midsize SUV, which you can check out below.
Next-gen Ford Everest teaser video
Looking at the teaser video, Ford didn’t reveal a lot of design details except for the boxier exterior body silhouette and the C-shaped daytime running lights. It does somehow resemble last year’s unofficial render by Russian auto publication Kolesa, matching even the chrome strips on the edges of the D-pillar.
The global launch of the all-new Ford Everest will be presented by the model’s Chief Platform Engineer, Ian Foston, and Design Director, Max Wolff. They will discuss the changes on the next-gen version, exploring the vehicles ‘bold design, adventure-ready capability, enhanced safety, and premium interior comfort.’
“Our intention from the beginning was to communicate the capability of next-gen Everest with a modern, strong exterior design,” said Wolff. “On the interior, we created a sanctuary with premium appointments in which customers could feel relaxed and in control, no matter what was going on outside.”

The American automaker will unveil the all-new Everest globally on March 1, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. Ford Philippines will be hosting an online stream of the launch on its Facebook page and YouTube channels. Filipino fans can check out the company’s ‘Coming Soon’ section on its official website to get the latest updates on the midsize SUV.

This will be the more performance-oriented version of the regular Ford Ranger launched in November last year. The Ford Everest 2024 is a ladder-frame, rear-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive, midsize, seven-seater SUV. In the Philippine market, this model has four different variants. The Trend 4x2 AT, Sport 4x2 AT, Titanium+ 4x2 AT, and the Titanium+ 4x4 AT. Locally, its price ranges from Php 1,799,000 to Php 2,525,000.
Size-wise, the 2024 Everest is 4,904mm long, 2,201mmwide, and 1,884mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,900mm, and a ground clearance of 223mm.
Powering the all-new Everest are two engines. For the Titanium+ 4x4, it uses a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine four-banger capable of outputting 210 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The rest meanwhile uses a 2.0-liter turbodiesel that can dish out 170 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque. Only the top-spec trim gets a 10-speed automatic gearbox paired with a 4x4 drivetrain. The rest then gets a 4x2 drivetrain and a six-speed automatic transmission.
Locally, the 2024 Ford Everest Philippines competes against the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Nissan Terra, Isuzu mu-X, Mitsubishi Montero Sport, among others.
