Recently, Mercedes-Benz has revealed a teaser image as well as some details of the next-gen Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2018, which is being worked in conjunction with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, at the North American Commercial Vehicle Show in Atlanta.
According to car news from the manufacturer, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2018 will be given a host of safety features and simultaneously, be vastly improved its efficiency.

Apparently, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2018 looks quite similar to the Vision Van concept which was showcased last year. However, the Sprinter will not come with the wraparound windshield and cameras as the concept did. Instead, it features stocky side mirrors and especially, the front grille of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class pick-up truck which is surrounded by LED headlights with bigger clusters.

Additionally, the new Sprinter now gets a more commodious cabin in order to carry more cargo and stuff.
Mercedes also disclosed that its new van would be produced in North Charleston, US. As a result, the next-gen Sprinter will be labelled “Made in the USA.” Besides, plants in Germany will still be in charge of the van’s assembly.
As claimed by the company, it is willing to share more key features and photos of the third-gen Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2018 forward of its official launch sometime next year.
