Of note, the TGR Vios Cup is a one-make race that’s been around since 2014. According to Toyota, this racing series is not only home to the country’s finest drivers but also functions as a place to start for aspiring racers.

Being a one-make race series, only one car is utilized by all for this event. To this end, the other star of the TGR Vios cup is the Vios OMR cars. All of them are heavily modified to handle the rigors of racing.

These race-spec Vios units, despite sporting the stock 1.5-liter 2NR-FE, are quite agile and significantly faster than your regular Vios. If you want to learn more about these cars, they have been described in detail in our coverage of the 2022 Toyota Philippines GR Festival

Other than the Vios OMR cars, audiences will also get to preview the upcoming Toyota GR 86 in action.

If you want to catch the Circuit Championship and the Autocross Challenge themselves, you can visit Clark International Speedway yourself on August 20, 2022 at 9:30 am. It’s free to enter and watch, but make sure to bring your vaccination cards.

The said event will also be streamed on Toyota Motor Philippines and Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines’ official Facebook pages.
