Hyundai Grand Starex facelift witnesses noticeable styling changes.
Compared to its original, this restyled model has a more delicate grille with thinner strips, sweeping headlights and smaller rectangular foglights. In addition, signal lights are attached to its side mirrors while 17-inch alloy wheels are highlighted with bi-color design.
Hyundai Grand Starex 2018 facelift will apply 2.5L CRDi engine, associated with a 5-speed automatic transmission to produce max speed of 168 hp and peak torque of 441 Nm. Speaking of its interiors, this van will get more car-like cabin with hi-tech devices like 8-inch touchscreen infotainment equipped with navigation gadgets, 4-spoke steering wheel and restyled gear lever.

The Hyundai Starex is a rear-wheel-drive, van available in the Philippines. It comes in a seatless cargo variant, an 18-seater variant, or 10-seater variant.
Locally, the Hyundai Starex has a total of nine different variants in the Philippines. The Hyundai Grand Starex Philippines price ranges from Php 1,248,000 to Php 2,938,000.
Under the hood, the Hyundai Starex uses a 2.5-liter diesel engine, or a 2.5-liter CRDi engine. The non-CRDi versions are capable of making up to 100 horsepower and 226 Nm of torque. The CRDi 2.5-liter mill meanwhile, can produce up to 170 horsepower and 441 Nm of torque.
All non-CRDi versions of the Starex uses a five-speed manual gearbox, while the CRDi versions come with a five-speed automatic transmission. All versions are rear-wheel-drive.
