The 7th-gen Volkswagen Jetta 2019 has finally been rolled out at the ongoing 2018 Detroit Auto Show. This C-segment sedan, besides following the brand’s signature styling direction, will come with a plethora of updates and technologies.

To commence with, the front fascia is significantly refreshed. Specifically, the rectangular theme covering the outgoing model’s face has disappeared to make room for a new more dynamic one which is decked with a wider 3-slat grille bordered by larger headlights with C-shaped LED daytime running lights as well as more character lines in the bumper. Plus, the hood is also given more defined lines.

Overall, the new Jetta is taller, longer and wider than its predecessor. Taking a first look at the sedan, you can immediately spot a wider stance together with sharper character line following through the door handles. In addition to that, a third side rear window also seems to make the new Jetta look longer.
