About one week ago, we had chance to preview the Volkswagen Jetta 2019 on VW’s Canadian website. This time, another image of this all-new sedan has been unveiled ahead of the approaching launch at 2018 Detroit Auto Show next year. Taking everything into consideration, the Jetta in the latest image looks promising, right?

According to latest car news, the next-generation Volkswagen Jetta will share the MQB platform with the VW Golf, Audi A3 and many others before it. As well as that, the sedan will come replete with a bevy of “super modern” styling cues that will bring it an “emotional” and “strong” appearance. Yes, the clear proof is already shown in the teaser image. As you can see, it’s a more streamlined and sleeker Jetta. Point by point, the front end is decked with a familiar Arteon-styled grille white the rear facet fairly resembles the Audi A3.

However, the new model somehow retains recognizable traits of a signature VW.

In terms of powertrain, driving the new Jetta will be a tuned version of the 1.4-liter turbocharged mill which is expected to produce 150 hp and work in conjunction with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

In addition, a sporty version named “R-Line” will likewise be available at launch. After that, a high-performance version GLI will possibly make its way around one year later.
