Auto Nation Group, RAM’s official distributor in the country, is growing the range of its 1500 full-size truck with the addition of the 1500 Rebel. It is designed with enhancements to showcase what a dominant and supreme truck should be.

Exterior
The Ram 1500 Rebel comes with two-tone exterior paint with matte black accents to truly bring out an aggressive off-road look. To create a distinction, ‘Rebel’ letterings can be found on the sides that harmonize with the matte black accents.

Other blacked-out exterior features include the truck’s tubular side steps, exterior mirrors, front and rear steel bumpers, dual exhaust tips, and 18-inch gloss black wheels in all-terrain tires. The dual exhaust tips are a great addition to enhance its performance-oriented characteristic. These also help set it apart from its pickup rivals.
The new truck is equipped with LED reflector headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs), front LED fog lamps, LED tail lamps, full-size spare tire, and exterior mirrors with courtesy lamps.
Ram 1500 Rebel RamBox
To improve functionality, the American full-size truck is geared with built-in RamBoxes located at its sides. It can be opened from the outside using a key for easier access. What this feature offers is it can serve as icebox storage for beverages and frozen foods. The RamBox can also be used as extra compartment storage.
Interior
Going to the interior of the Ram 1500 Rebel, it is finished with a black theme with white stitching to make an appealing contrast. The cabin gets to benefit from leather-trimmed bucket seats for enhanced comfort, while the front passengers can take advantage of the truck’s heated front seats.

In addition, the cabin is installed with USB ports for Aux and charging, front seatback map pockets, coat hooks, 115V auxiliary power outlet and rear power outlet, rear under-seat compartment storage, and an overhead console.
Tech and Safety
The Ram 1500 Rebel is equipped with a massive 12-inch infotainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth. Going hand-in-hand with the touchscreen display are nine amplified speakers with a subwoofer for entertainment on the go.

As for safety, the full-size truck comes with an advanced brake assist, traction control, automatic headlamps, electronic roll mitigation, electronic stability control, full-speed forward collision warning plus, hill descent control, hill start assist, ParkView rear backup-camera, Parksense front/rear park assist, and airbags for the front, curtain, and sides.
Engine
Powering the Ram 1500 Rebel is a 5.7-liter V8 Hemi engine that is capable of generating 395 hp and 410 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with 8-speed automatic transmission.

The American truck is also equipped with a four-wheel-drive system to help drivers conquer roads easily using buttons near the gear selector.
Pricing
Auto Nation Group is offering the new Ram 1500 Rebel at Php 4,090,000. It will be competing against the Blue Oval company’s full-size pickup truck, the F-150, which was introduced in the country last year.

The RAM 1500 is a full-size pickup truck. It has two variants for the Philippine market, the RAM 1500 Rebel Crew Cab 4x4 AT, and the RAM 1500 TRX 4x4 AT. These are priced at Php 4,390,000, and Php 9.390,000 respectively.
It has two engine options: a smaller 5.7-liter naturally-aspirated Hemi V8, and a larger 6.2-liter supercharged V8 HEMI. The 5.7-liter mill can make up to 395 horsepower and 556 Nm of torque. The larger 6.2-liter V8 in turn can produce up to 702 horsepower and 881 Nm of torque. Both variants then use an eight-speed automatic gearbox and a 4x4 drivetrain.
Size-wise, the RAM 1500 Rebel is 5,816mm long, 2,017mm wide, and 1,994mm in height. The 1500 TRX is is bit larger as it measures 5,915mm long, 2,235mm wide, and 2,054mm in height.
In the market, the RAM 1500's only rival is the Ford F-150.
