According to latest news from the manufacturer, the Mazda 2 2017 will be on sale in the UK from July 1 in SE, SE-L, SE-L Nav, GT, GT Sport variants and a limited edition named Tech Edition.

Based on the SE-L which costs £14,695 (₱ 937,002), the Mazda 2 Tech Edition comes with more equipment such as auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers, rear parking sensors, privacy glass and a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels. Moreover, Mazda offers the Tech Edition three exterior color options: Dynamic Blue Mica, Snowflake White Pearlescent and Jet Black Mica paint. Because of these additional features, the upgrade version is priced at £14,995 (₱ 956,131), £300 over the SE-L.

Commenting on the revisions to the Mazda 2, Jeremy Thomson - Head of Mazda Motors UK stated that “The addition of the Tech Edition gives us a limited edition model that offers a winning combination of excellent equipment and extra value,”

The 2017 Mazda 2 Tech Edition is equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter SkyActiv-G engine producing 90hp and 148 Nm of torque. Power is fed to the wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. Furthermore, the Japanese automaker has also added G Vectoring Control (GVC) to the new Tech Edition which comes as standard across the whole range.
The Mazda 2 is a range-topping vehicle in the A-segment
It takes the car 9.4 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h before hitting the top speed of 184 km/h. The new hatchback can give an impressive fuel economy of 22 km/L.

With annual sales of over 10,000 units, the Mazda 2 is a range-topping vehicle in the A-segment thanks to its smart design and high-quality user experience. The Tech Edition will be limited to just 750 units and they’re all intended for the UK.
