What to expect at first-ever virtual Manila International Auto Show

Online showgoers are in for a treat.

The Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) is one of the anticipated events of car enthusiasts. However, the organizer of the annual motor show was forced to postpone the event due to the threat brought upon by the COVID-19 virus. The original date of the 2020 MIAS was supposed to be held last April.

After months of waiting, the organizer of MIAS, Worldbex Services International (WSI), found a way on how to save this year’s auto show by maximizing the digital platform. As such, this year’s MIAS will give showgoers a different and unique online experience.

Several local car brands will be participating in the online MIAS show this year. With that, here are the things to expect at the first-ever virtual Manila International Auto Show.

Changan

Changan Philippines is one of the newest players in the local market. As such, it will be showing off its model lineup at the virtual auto show. Expect to see the Alsvin, which is Changan’s challenger in the subcompact sedan segment.

Hyundai

Hyundai Philippines is showcasing its stellar vehicle lineup with fresh mobility options, under the ‘CONNEXT’ banner.

Nissan

Nissan Philippines joins the virtual auto show along with its full model lineup. The brand will also be highlighting the LEAF, an electric vehicle (EV).

Subaru

Subaru Philippines will show its full model lineup at the 2020 MIAS Wired. Expect to see the Forester, the XV, and a whole lot more. Moreover, Subaru Philippines is offering special promos that are exclusively available at the virtual auto show.

Jaguar Philippines will have a virtual appearance at the 2020 MIAS. The brand is expected to highlight the I-Pace EV, and the F-Type.

Land Rover

Land Rover Philippines is expected to make its presence felt virtually at the 2020 MIAS. It will be showcasing the Defender that’s equipped with a diesel engine. Land Rover is also expected to highlight the Range Rover Plug-in Hyrbid Electric Vehicle.

Jeep
