Specifically, the brand will be holding an exclusive launch event for the media on May 31. This is then followed by its public launch from June 1 to June 2, 2024.

At the moment, VinFast is yet to declare where exactly this launch event is happening, but the company says that it will be displaying its lineup of EVs for the public to see. This includes the VF e34 compact crossover EV, VF 5 city car EV, VF 7 compact crossover EV, and flagship three-row VF 9 crossover EV.

Beyond that, the brand is likewise displaying a total of six fully-electric motorcycle models. This includes the VF DrgnFly - a tube-frame electric bicycle powered by a 750W rear hub motor.

Likewise available for test drives at VinFast’s Philippine public launch are the VF e34, VF5, and the DrgnFly electric bike.

Of note, VinFast has been accelerating its global for quite some time now. After reaching the United States, Canada, and Europe, it is now setting its sights on the Asia market. Recently, the brand has already launched in Indonesia, India, and Thailand.

For those unfamiliar with the VinFast brand, it officially goes by the name: VinFast Auto Ltd. It is a part of the Vingroup one of the largest private conglomerates in Vietnam.

VinFast Auto itself was founded in 2017 and it now owns a state-of-the-art automotive manufacturing complex in Hai Phong, Vietnam. This facility is of particular note as it boats a 90 percent scalability in automation.

If it isn’t obvious by now, the company mostly builds electric-powered forms of mobility. However, its first-ever products which are the Lux sedan and crossover models, were combustion-powered rides that were designed in partnership with legendary automotive design house Pininfarina, BWM, and Austria-based car maker Magna Steyr GmbH & Co KG.
