T-Sure Toyota pre-owned cars come with engine, transmission warranty

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has relaunched its pre-owned vehicle program with the intention of making the used car buying experience better, simpler, and worry-free. Through its T-Sure program, TMP promises to offer only quality used cars for sale.  

T-Sure units can come with up to 1-year engine and transmission warranty

TMP said that all T-Sure units have gone through a 211-Point Inspection to ensure quality. The units are then classified into three types of products to better fit the customers’ needs and budget.   

The three T-Sure product types are classified according to mileage and vehicle age. Here are the three product types: 

- T-Sure Toyota Certified Elite

- T-Sure Toyota Value Plus

- T-Sure Value Lite 

Pre-owned Toyota T-Sure cars for sale are listed under Certified Elite if it has a mileage of 60,000 km or less, and has a vehicle age of five years or less. Units with a Certified Elite badge are offered with a 1-year engine and transmission warranty that can be claimed at any Toyota dealership nationwide.   

Meanwhile, second-hand Toyota T-Sure units with a mileage of 100,000 km or less, and a vehicle age of 12 years or less are classified as Value Plus products. Units with a Value Plus badge come with a three-month warranty on the engine and transmission. 

T-Sure units under Value Lite don't come with a warranty

The Value Lite badge is given to pre-owned Toyota units for sale that comes with a mileage of above 100,000 km, and has a vehicle age above 12 years. TMP’s T-Sure program doesn’t offer any warranty for units with a Value Lite badge. But, units under the said product type have also undergone the 211-point Inspection, which is one of TMP’s requirements to certify that a vehicle can be placed under the T-Sure program.

In addition, packages from Toyota Insure and After Sales Service, tailor-fit to the needs of pre-owned car customers, may be availed on top of the purchased T-Sure unit.

As of this writing, there are 29 Toyota outlets offering T-Sure vehicles. TMP targets to end the year with 33 T-Sure Retail Dealers.
