Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has awarded the brand-new Brio to the grand winner of the “Stay Connected with Honda” raffle promo. The said promo involved Honda customers who updated their contact information until March 18, 2021. Those who did were entitled to one entry for the said raffle.

The lucky winner of the Honda Brio 1.2 S MT is Mr. Richie San Jose, who received the said unit at Honda Cars Bulacan. Present during the ceremony were HCPI executives including Department Manager for Dealer Operations Verna Hiyao; Department Manager for Field Sales Operations Rex Dacena; and Honda Cars Bulacan President Redentor Kalalang.
Apart from the grand prize winner, 39 lucky Honda customers also won these prizes:
- 1 winner of iPhone 11
- 1 winner of Nintendo Switch
- 1 winner of iPad Air (3rd Gen.)
- 5 winners of Blaupunkt Air Purifier
- 3 winners of Rustan’s Gift Certificate worth Php 5,000 each
- 3 winners of Sodexo Gift Certificate worth Php 2,500 each
Apart from those prizes, Honda also collaborated with Petron to provide 25 raffle winners with free gas worth Php 8,000 each. Customized value cards were also given to those who won the free fuel from Petron.
Of note, HCPI President Masahiko Nakamura congratulated all the raffle winners, and he also thanked everyone who participated in the raffle activity. He then said that the company extends its gratitude to customers for their continuing support throughout the years.

If you want to drive home your own Honda Brio, be aware that the said model has four variants in the local market. Their prices currently range from Php 601,000 for the entry-level Brio S, to Php 735,000 for the top-of-the-line, feature-rich Honda Brio RS Black Top.

It is considered to be the small hatchback option, while the new City hatchback is on the more premium option of the brand. In consideration of its price points, the small hatchback is regarded as the entry-level vehicle of the Japanese carmaker.</p> <p>In Thailand, Honda first introduced the Brio in 2011 in response to a government-funded eco-car program. While in India, the small hatchback was produced by Honda's subsidiary company known as Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL). The manufacturing process took place in its facilities in Greater Noida. Most of the parts used to make the model were brough from Indian suppliers.</p> <p>And in 2014, HCPI debuted the Honda Brio in the local market which provided Filipino car buyers with an affordable and sporty-looking hatchback. The PH-spec model is currently on its second-generation version and consists of the base S variant, mid-spec V variant, and top-of-the-line RS variant.</p>
