With over 30,000 race victories, Porsche is undeniably one of the most successful manufacturers in the motorsports scene. Now, the German automaker has teamed up with Microsoft's Xbox to celebrate the 75th anniversary of its racing history.

The collaboration is bringing out a limited collection of custom Xbox Series X with matching Xbox wireless controllers. It includes six styles, each paying homage to some of the most iconic moments Porsche had since its first sports car came out in 1948.
Included in the Porsche-inspired Xbox Consoles collection are the Porsche 911 GT1 Edition (#26), Porsche Hippie Edition (#3), Porsche Pink Pig Edition (#23 Pink), Porsche Salzburg Edition (#23 Red), Porsche Racing Edition (#43), and Porsche 75th Edition (#75).
The collection commemorates Porsche's greatest outings in motorsports
Forza Horizon is an Xbox-exclusive racing video game that showcases Porsche models such as various iterations of the 911 and 718. It allows gamers to get behind the wheel of the automaker’s sports cars in the virtual world.
The collection is scheduled to be unveiled in Q3 2023 at major auto and gaming events around the world. Although, the special edition Xbox will not be up for retail. It will instead be given away to lucky individuals residing in the US, UK, and Germany through a raffle.
“Many people who end up being our most dedicated fans had their first encounter with Porsche through gaming,” said Porsche AG Vice President Global Marketing Robert Ader. “That’s why it plays a key role for us to stay relevant not just among current fans but among new generations.”
“Xbox and its fan base are no stranger to Porsche and the incredible capabilities of its high-performance vehicles in our beloved racing and driving games like Forza Horizon 5,” said Xbox Director of Global Partnerships Marcos Waltenberg. “That’s why we’re excited to team up with the renowned sports car brand to create special edition Xbox hardware that celebrates their milestone anniversary.”
