Nissan Philippines announced that the 2021 Navara is now available in all its dealerships nationwide. The new Nissan pickup truck is said to deliver unmatched comfort, durability, reliability, and versatility against its competitors in its respective segment.
“The Philippines is a key market for Nissan,” said Isao Sekiguchi, regional vice president for Nissan ASEAN. “Today, we’re showing our commitment to transform our product lineup in the Philippines with the launch of Nissan’s iconic pickup nameplate, the new Navara.”

There are many features test drivers can expect in the new Nissan Navara. It is installed with a multi-link, coil spring suspension system which improves cabin comfort despite its pickup truck nature. This was tested on the Paoay Sand Dunes where the pickup truck drove through uphills and downhills seamlessly.
Powering the Nissan Navara is a 2.5-liter YD25 inline-4 turbocharged diesel engine. All variants make 190 hp and 450 Nm of torque except for the base EL variant. The base variant is tuned differently which results in slightly lesser power outputs of 163 hp and 403 Nm of torque.

Also enhancing the new pickup truck is the integration of the Nissan Intelligent Mobility. This provides driver assistance and safety features for a more convenient driving experience. Some of the features include driver attention alert, intelligent forward collision warning, intelligent around-view monitor, blind-spot warning, and lane departure warning.
As for pricing, the base EL 2.5 4x2 MT variant starts at Php 1,149,000 and goes up to Php 1,849,000 for the top-of-the-line PRO-4X 2.5 4x4 AT variant. An additional Php 15,000 if buyers opt for an aspen pearl white body color. Of note, the said prices include the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)’s safeguard tax already.

Additionally, the Japanese carmaker is also offering a good after-sales service for its new Nissan Navara. A 5-year vehicle warranty is made available only for the new pickup truck. The extended vehicle warranty applies to all of its variants.
