NLEX Corp. is on a mission to produce safety-focused future drivers

As mentioned above, the Mission Road Safety campaign will cover the entire month of May 2023. Under this initiative, the expressway operator will conduct various activities that promote safe driving practices, basic car maintenance, proper highway driving, and expressway rules and regulations.

Under the Mission Road Safety Campaign, the tollway operator will hold several NLEX Kiddie Patrol Day events. These fun-filled days will take place in selected areas, and they will feature a driving simulation game, road sign-making, and other fun activities. Plus, participants will also get the chance to meet the characters from Nickelodeon’s Paw Patrol series.

A theoretical driving course, organized in partnership with the Land Transportation Office (LTO), will also be held for NLEX employees. Seminars for transport groups, communities, and other entities will also be conducted all throughout the year, even after the Road Safety Month.

Various rest areas and gas stations will also be visited by NLEX teams for the Mission Road Safety Caravan. A road safety booth competition will come front and center in this activity. Materials for road safety will be distributed by NLEX teams as well.

Last but not least is a fun run which will be held in Bulacan. This will be entered by NLEX employees, and it serves to promote sustainability and road safety.

Note that the new Mission Road Safety campaign is a continuation of the company’s efforts in helping to produce responsible drivers. In fact, NLEX Corp. says that its long-running road safety education initiatives have already benefitted 2,220 individuals in the first quarter of 2023 alone. That number consists of motorists, members of host communities, partners, employees, and kids.
