The Mirage G4 gets a refreshed exterior and interior.

Mitsubishi Motor Philippines Corporation (MMPC) announced that the refreshed Mirage G4 will officially be added to the local lineup soon. This announcement confirmed the spotted new version we reported earlier this year.

New Mirage G4 Teaser

To keep fans engaged, the Japanese automaker released a teaser video that subtly shows the restyled exterior details of the new model. Although not a lot of details have been revealed, one cannot deny that it is similarly close to the Thai-spec Mirage G4 called Attrage.

With that, the Thai-spec 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 features a sportier and more striking exterior thanks to the redesigned front end as well as the revamped taillights. The Mirage G4 model for the Thai market also gets a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels, a feature that could most likely be carried over to the upcoming Philippine-spec model.

MMPC also teased the view from the driver’s seat that shows an updated look with the same black interior theme. If we will follow the Thai-spec model, then it should be installed with a 7-inch touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Under the hood, the new Mirage G4 is most likely to be powered by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine that makes 77 hp and 100 Nm of torque. And just like the current PH-spec model, the engine can still be paired to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

As for the pricing, MMPC hasn’t released any information as of this writing. But considering that it is a facelifted model, then it is expected to come with a higher price tag. The current PH-spec Mitsubishi Mirage G4 price starts at Php 735,000 for the base GLX 1.2 MT variant and goes up to Php 869,000 for the top-of-the-line GLS 1.2 CVT variant.
