Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) has inaugurated its new national headquarters in Calamba City, Laguna.
The new Changan National HQ
The CMPI National Headquarters is said to set the standards for the automaker in the country. Present in the turnover ceremony were key officials from CMPI, Changan International Corporation (CIC), dealer partners, and Changan partner institutions from banking to the media.
“Today, we open our doors for the Filipino to fully experience Changan’s ‘Lasting Safety,’ not only in terms of our product and service offerings, but also in the way we look after the interests of our stakeholders – customers, employees, and neighboring communities,” said CMPI President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo.
The new HQ is constructed with a showroom
Seated on a 2,300 sqm. lot, the new Changan headquarters offers a 3S (sales, service, spare parts) facility. For the first time, the Chinese automaker has rolled out its dedicated electric vehicle (EV) charging station situated within the main service workshop. Current and prospective owners of the all-electric Changan Eado will benefit from this.

A 228 sqm. space has been allocated for displaying up to nine vehicles. Visitors can expect to see Changan models in the local lineup including the Alsvin, CS35 Plus, CS55 Plus, and CS75 Plus. They can also relax in the customer lounge built near the showroom.
In addition to the inauguration of the brand’s new headquarters in the country, CMPI launched the UNI crossover series with the Uni-T and Uni-K. The Uni-T compact crossover and Uni-K midsize crossover are available for indent orders at all authorized Changan dealerships for Php 1,679,000 and Php 2,719,000, respectively.
“With the recent launch of the new Changan CS55 Plus in the Philippines and the rise of the headquarters of Changan Philippines, plus the entry of more new models to this country, we trust that Changan will carve its own niche in the Philippines auto industry,” said CIC Sales Director Arieson Zhang.
