SMC adds toll plazas included in dry run of RFID-only payment

The second batch of cashless toll payment dry run starts tomorrow, September 8.

More toll plazas under San Miguel Tollways will be implementing cashless or RFID-only payments starting tomorrow, September 8, 2023. This is part of the second batch of the dry run for cashless toll payment that the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) launched early this month.

Toll plaza Autosweep RFID More toll plazas are included in the second batch of cashless toll payment dry run

The updated list shared by the TRB only includes toll plazas under San Miguel Tollways wherein the Autosweep RFID is used for cashless or contactless payment. The TRB reiterated that motorists without RFID stickers can still enter the participating toll plaza for the said dry run. But, they will be directed to a specific space where they can pay the toll fees in cash and shall be “persuaded to have an RFID sticker installed.”

Previous reports also state that motorists without an Autosweep RFID sticker will be allowed to pass but a toll personnel will install an RFID sticker on their vehicle. Toll personnel will only take a photo of the vehicle license and secure the motorist’s mobile phone number. Motorists then have to complete the registration process by supplying other essential information at the Autosweep RFID website.

Skyway Stage 3 Make sure that your RFID has sufficient balance

Below is the list of additional toll plazas included in the cashless toll payment dry run. Take note, that all the listed toll plazas below use an Autosweep RFID. As such, ensure that your Autosweep RFID has sufficient balance.
