Since the start of 2022, buying a car might not be the most ideal decision due to the soaring fuel prices. But the guys over at Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) have a timely fuel promo that could address the issue.

Up for grabs until April 30, 2022, each purchase of a brand-new Mitsubishi Mirage G4 will include Php 4,000 worth of fuel. Regardless of how frequent the new unit will be used, the said fuel promo can provide owners a convenient start to their new car ownership experience.
“Petroleum costs rising uncontrollably due to the recent global disputes are affecting local motorists and operators by the day. In spite of this, we want our customers to have a pleasant start to their ownership experience by preserving that delightful moment when their new Mitsubishi is released from our showroom,” said MMPC Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing Mr. Takanobu Suzuki.
The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 is the brand’s entry into the subcompact sedan segment. It boasts a fuel-efficient powertrain which one can say is fitting in today’s time. Based on our tests, the vehicle registered 11 to 14 km/l in city driving, while its highway drives posted a fuel consumption rating of 21.6 km/l.
Providing the said numbers is a 1.2-liter inline-3 MIVEC gasoline engine that is capable of generating 76 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque. The engine is connected to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) which is generally more fuel-efficient than a traditional geared transmission.

In addition, MMPC’s fuel promo is available on purchases of a brand new Mitsubishi L300. With this, owners can jump-start their businesses with a little help from the Japanese marque.
“This exclusive fuel package is meant to help with that so they can have an unforgettable first road trip with their new Mirage G4 or first business delivery with their L300 care of us,” added Suzuki.

The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 2023 is the subcompact sedan entry of the Japanese automaker. It is also regarded as the sedan counterpart of the Mirage hatchback. They both share a lot of mechanical components, and they even use the same 1.2-liter inline-3 gasoline engine MIVEC engine that makes 77 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque. In the Philippines, Japanese car brand Mitsubishi markets four variants of the Mirage G4 sedan, with a price ranging from PHP 769,000 to PHP 899,000. In 2023, Mitsubishi introduced the limited edition Mirage G4 GLS Sport, which is priced at Php 929,000.
Both top-spec trim GLS and the mid-range GLX come with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), while the entry-level GLX uses a five-speed manual gearbox instead. Dimensions-wise, this vehicle has a length of 4,305 mm, a width of 1,670 mm, and a height of 1,515 mm. Some of the rivals of the Mirage G4 include the Toyota Vios, Honda City, and Nissan Almera.
