Photos have been leaked online of what seems to be a new Kia logo, seen on the third-generation Kia K7 prototype. However, there are no confirmations just yet from Kia whether it will update its logo or not.
The application for the new Kia logo was first made with Korea’s patent office called the Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service (KIPRIS). The fields for the registration date and application publish date are still both empty, which leaves the logo unofficial as of the moment.

Design-wise, the new logo is finished with either a red or black color – spelling out its brand name. It hosts a very subtle and minimalistic design that instantly makes it really distinct from the current Kia logo.
Reports, however, say that the new Kia logo might be applied only to its hybrid and EV cars. Regardless, it would still be great to see a new logo from the South Korean automaker since Kia has been using the same logo for years now.

With the apparent rise of the hybrids and EVs, a new and refreshed logo for Kia seems to be the move to go. Genesis, a car brand also under the Hyundai Motor Group, has unveiled its new 2D emblem.
The simplified emblem is purposely done in order to signify the brand’s design direction, which includes electric cars.

The all-new, third-generation Kia K7, or Cadenza, is set to be introduced sometime in 2021 – debuting the new logo, maybe? It sure is what we hope for. The details for the new Kia K7 have not yet been revealed.
What we could expect as of the moment other than the new logo is a larger front grille, new exterior mirrors attached to its doors, and a stretched C-pillar line.
