Kia Philippines is inviting you to visit its booth at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) as the EV6 will take center stage.
Kia EV6
The Kia EV6 is a significant addition to the company’s lineup as it is powered by an all-electric powertrain. It is the brand’s first dedicated electric vehicle (EV) underpinned by the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the same platform used by models under the Hyundai Motor Group such as the Ioniq 5.
Introduced in March 2021, the EV6 has already bagged several accolades including the European Car Of The Year, Irish Car of the Year, and Best of the Best at the 2022 Red Dot Design Awards. Hyundai Motor Group Chief Creative Officer Luc Donckerwolke also won the 2022 World Car Person of the Year for designing the Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Genesis GV60.
Futuristic-looking EV
Despite running behind the race for electrification, Kia Philippines will still go and promote the benefits of EVs in the country with the EV6. The Korean EV will be displayed at the PIMS with Interactive Motion Wall, a digital art installation triggered by motion sensors. This aims to provide an immersive experience to visitors.
“We also want to open a window to the future and share with the Filipino public our vision of what to expect from Kia in the coming years. We will do this by offering an immersion into the charging ecosystem of our Kia EV6 electric vehicle, to demonstrate that it is packed with surprises and is more than just a car,” said Kia Philippines President Manny Aligada.
“And true to our ‘Movement that Inspires’ tagline, our visitors will get to experience our interactive digital art display that unifies our futuristic and relevant Kia showcase,” added Aligada.
The EV6 will be joined by other Kia cars such as the Sorento
Aside from the Kia EV6, the company will also showcase other models such as Sorento, Carnival, Soluto, and Stonic Style Edition. See what the Korean automaker has to offer at the PIMS which will happen at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from September 15 to 18.
