A Php 40,000 price increase was implemented across all three Hyundai Stargazer variants in the Philippines. The said price bump comes three months after the Stargazer’s official launch in the local market, which was in November 2022.

Of note, the Stargazer was initially offered with introductory prices, which makes the entry-level variant have a retail price of under Php 1 million pesos. The initial price range for the Hyundai Stargazer is from Php 998,000 up to Php 1,218,000.

Hyundai Philippines said that the Php 40,000 price increase for the Stargazer was implemented starting March 2023. That said, Hyundai’s MPV now starts at Php 1,038,000 for the GL variant. The mid-spec Stargazer GLS now comes with a sticker price of Php 1,168,000 while the top-of-the-line GLS Premium retails at Php 1,258,000.

All Hyundai Stargazer variants come with a 1.5-liter Smartstream gasoline engine that delivers 113 hp and 144 Nm of torque. The engine is then connected to an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), which is Hyundai’s version of the continuously variable transmission. Hyundai’s IVT is said to yield better power delivery as well as better fuel efficiency.

The base Stargazer GL variant is equipped with halogen headlights but it doesn’t come with fog lamps and daytime running lights, which are features available starting at the mid-spec GLS.
