The August performance helped the Korean car brand reach its total year-to-date sales to 24,233 copies during the January to August period. This means that Hyundai PH posted a 9 % growth from 22,134 units in 2016.

The excellent performance can be attributed to the strong showing of Hyundai’s hot-selling vehicles like the Hyundai Accent, Hyundai H-100. As before, the wide popularity and strong appeal of the Hyundai Accent are continuing to drive Hyundai’s sales momentum this year. The sales of brand-new Hyundai Accent jumped to 14% from a year ago to 1,383 copies in August. This propelled the Passenger Car (PC) sales to 2,122 copies – an increase of 2% from last year’s sales of 2,087 copies.

The Hyundai H-100 closed August 2017 with a remarkable 477 of its copies sold – a 23% year-on-year growth from 141 vehicles delivered in 2016.

With this excellent performance and more engaging drive in its upcoming models, Hyundai believes it still keeps more customers happy.
