Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), Hyundai’s official commercial vehicle (CV) distributor, is offering the light-duty truck market the HD45 GT and HD78 GT.
Hyundai HD45 GT
The Hyundai HD45 GT and HD78 GT bring versatility to the table, with the former available in medium wheelbase (MWB) configuration with 4,572 mm of loading space and in long wheelbase (LWB) configuration with 5,486 mm of loading space.
In terms of loading capacity, the HD45 GT MWB and LWB can carry as much as 2,130 kg and 2,090 kg, respectively.
One of the advantages of opting for the HD45 GT is its gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 4,490 kg, which exempts it from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s (MMDA) truck ban. This can help Filipino entrepreneurs keep their businesses moving any time of the day.
Hyundai HD78 GT
As for the bigger Hyundai HD78 GT, this 6-wheeler truck is available with loading space of 4,572 mm for the MWB, 5,486 mm for the LWB, and 5,944 mm for the extra-long wheelbase (ELWB) configuration. These have a loading capacity of 5,215 kg, 4,844 kg, and 4,362 kg, respectively.
Powering the two Hyundai light-duty trucks is a 2.9-liter turbocharged Common Rail Injection (CRDi) diesel engine capable of generating 159 horsepower and 392 Nm of torque. Drivers have to work around the trucks using a 5-speed manual transmission.
The Korean automaker claims that its advanced CRDi technology requires less strain to produce such power. As a result, the HD45 GT and HD78 GT can haul goods with ease, whilst featuring robust and fuel-efficient powertrains.
