Hyundai Motor Company released a new song called Yet To Come (Hyundai ver.) last September 23 featuring K-Pop boy band BTS.

Hyundai's Goal of the Century with BTS

The Hyundai version of the song is a British rock remix version of BTS’ single Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment), promoting the brand’s global sustainability campaign dubbed as “Goal of the Century.” This ultimately aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045 at all stages of Hyundai’s production and operations.

Within the music video, BTS is joined by Spot from Boston Dynamics, AAM (Advanced Air Mobility), Ioniq 5, and the Ioniq 6. These eco-friendly innovations present a glimpse of what the Korean automaker has in store to build a better future. In addition, Hyundai will launch a TikTok challenge with the hashtag #TeamCentury on October 1 to underscore the campaign.

“As one of the most influential global artists in the world, BTS and their music greatly influence our society to develop in a positive direction. Through the World Cup campaign with BTS, we hope to create an opportunity for people all over the world to unite towards one goal of sustainability and cheer each other up,” said Hyundai Motor Company President and CEO Jaehoon Chang.

The campaign is the latest in the long-running partnership between the automaker and the globally successful music group. This includes BTS being named Global Brand Ambassador for the Hyundai Palisade in 2019, as well as welcoming robotics company Boston Dynamics into the Hyundai family in 2021.

Locally, the brand’s global sustainability campaign is spearheaded by its new Philippine distributor, Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH). The company recently gave visitors to the 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) a chance to win 2022 FIFA World Cup tickets simply by test-driving the new Hyundai Creta. This is in line with Hyundai’s sustainability campaign, which was launched on Earth Day, April 22.

HMPH also previewed the Hyundai Ioniq 5 to Filipinos at the returning auto show. Aiming to support the brand’s sustainability goals, the Ioniq 5 is a fully-electric compact crossover that arrived on our shores with several global accolades. The Hyundai EV is expected to join the local lineup in January next year.
