The Honda Passport 2019 will be launched at a global event.

Honda, one of the biggest auto manufacturers in the world, announced the arrival of a new addition to their lineup which will be identified as Honda Passport 2019. In terms of innovations and creativity, this global-renowned brand is known to have the widest crossover ranges of cars that are available in the market. The existing models of such examples are BR-V, CR-V, HR-V, and Pilot.

Peeking at the aesthetics of the new Passport, it borderlines the look and the functionality of CR-V and Pilot, which is a make of Isuzu as well. An avid Isuzu fan or user would be familiar with the name Passport. It was previously utilized in the year of 1990s up to the 2000s as a re-branded variant of Isuzu's previously made Rodeo.

The newly presented Honda Passport 2019 is unlikely to be re-badged as the MU-X if you take a closer look at its promotional photos. However, as Honda's spokesperson would have it, the Passport will feature some sort of what they call as "off-road" capability in its performance.

In an interview, Henio Arcangeli, Jr., the Senior Vice President of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., says that "the new Passport is a more personal, powerful and off-road-capable SUV that hits the sweet spot between daily driving comfort and weekend off-road, all-weather adventure compatibility."

Upon closer look at the promotional materials Honda released, a sunroof can be seen with the inclusion of tail-lights that resemble Pilot's design and looks. Plus, a tailgate that emphasizes its design for speed. Since the market for seven-seaters is at high-demand, the likelihood for this model to possess three rows of seats is probable.

According to the latest car news, Honda confirms that the launch of the Honda Passport 2019 will be a global event. The possibility of its offering will not be limited to the US alone; however, specific places where it will be offered is not yet announced.
