Aside from showing off two electric vehicle (EV) concepts, the Saloon and Space-Hub, at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Honda has also revealed a new H logo that will don its future EV models.
Honda's new H logo
Honda launched a new H logo to complement its next-generation EVs, which will be under the Honda 0 Series. As such, the Saloon and Space-Hub EV concepts serve as a preview of Honda’s direction when it comes to its 0 Series next-gen electrified models.
The Honda 0 Series is guided by three core design principles: Thin, Light, and Wise. Honda explained that these principles will be reflected in key areas like the use of a dedicated “thin” EV platform that creates a low floor for aerodynamic performance and software-defined mobility products for a “wiser” and intelligent user experience.
Now, going back to the new H logo. The Japanese automaker shared that the new H logo expresses Honda’s determination to undergo a historic transformation, which is apt since the transition to fully electric vehicles is indeed a significant jump for car manufacturers globally. Honda added that the new H logo for its next-gen EVs shows its intention to constantly pursue new challenges and advancements.

The new H logo, according to Honda, symbolizes two outstretched hands that represent the company’s commitment to expanding the possibilities of mobility as well as continuing to meet the needs of its clients.
Honda’s new H logo is integrated into the two EV concepts it has shown at this year’s CES. The Saloon is the flagship EV concept of the Honda 0 Series. The car brand said that the Saloon EV concept features Honda’s M/M (man maximum/machine minimum) design philosophy. The M/M design approach explains why the Honda Saloon EV comes with a low and wide exterior that’s complemented by a roomy cabin.

The Japanese automaker has also confirmed that it will be introducing a production vehicle based on the Saloon EV concept, which is seen to debut in the North American market in 2026. It will then be followed by model introductions in Japan, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and South America.
