Honda City Sedan RS offered with 70K cash discount

With the help of bank partners, Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) upgraded a few deals in its February promo called 'Choose Your Own Deals.' One of the models that received a promo upgrade via the Bank Partner Sale is the Honda City RS.

Valid from February 14 to 20, 2022, customers can get the Honda City RS with a cash discount of Php 70,000, which is Php 10,000 more than the previous deal. Moreover, customers who will reserve for the model in a Honda dealership via the company’s bank partners are entitled to an additional special financing promo.

The Honda City RS is the model’s top-of-the-line variant in the local lineup. It boasts RS-exclusive exterior features including full LED headlights with auto-off timer, RS design front grille with RS emblem, sports bumper, 16-inch RS design wheels, and high gloss black trunk spoiler.

The City RS flaunts a sporty appearance

Inside, the Japanese subcompact sedan offers an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, eight speakers, and black leather & suede seats with red trims. Rear passengers also benefit from a leather center armrest with cup holders, exclusive to the RS trim.

Powering the Honda City is a standard 1.5-liter inline-4 DOHC i-VTEC gasoline engine capable of generating 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). To note, only the RS trim gets paddle shifters that drivers can use to control the transmission’s simulated gears.
