The American hypercar maker Hennessy has unveiled a new monster. Dubbed the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution, it is a light, powerful, and agile track-oriented beast that is based on the Venom F5 Coupe.

In the words of Hennessey themselves, they described this new hypercar as an “apex predator on a racing circuit.” Sure, it retains the original silhouette and layout of the Venom F5, but it features some bits that set it apart from the regular Venom F5.
To improve its aerodynamics, the Venom F5 Revolution was fitted with a wide, rear-mounted carbon fiber wing. This piece alone provides a whopping 635 kilograms of downforce when the vehicle reaches a speed of 400 km/h.

Supporting the rear wing to retain downforce for the car is a front splitter. To ensure that airflow is guided smoothly away from the car’s underbelly, it also gets a stylish-looking but also sizable rear diffuser as well.
Powering this mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive hypercar is the same 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 that’s found on other versions of the F5 model. And just like on the Venom F5, this V8 on the Venom F5 Revolution can still produce up to 1,817 horsepower and 1,615 Nm of torque.
That lighter body is thanks to its abundant use of carbon fiber
The said engine is then paired with an automated single-clutch gearbox. And to improve putting down power on the track, the car also has a limited-slip differential.
On top of all of those improvements, Hennessey claims that the Revolution version is much lighter than the regular F5. To be exact, it weighs 22 kilograms less than the already light, 1,360 kg Venom F5 Coupe.

Another great part about the Hennessey F5 Revolution is that it is actually road legal. So while it can rip through a racetrack like no tomorrow, one can also take it for a cruise on winding mountain roads.
Good luck getting one of these mean machines because only 24 units will be produced. Plus, it gets a price tag of around Php 148 million at current exchange rates and before other fees. Obviously, it is also a lot more expensive than the Php 115 million (current exchange rates) price tag of the regular Venom F5 Coupe.
