Sojitz G Auto Philippines Corporation (SGAP), the official distributor of Geely cars in the Philippines, reports that the GX3 Pro has managed to get the number two sales volume spot in the local subcompact crossover segment for October 2023. This achievement comes just two months after its local launch in August 2023.
The 2024 Geely GX3 Pro
The said report is based on sales figures collated by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI). The report indicates that Geely PH managed to sell a total of 441 GX3 Pro units within the said period, which is on top of the 165 reservations made for the model.
As per Geely Philippines, this big milestone for the all-new subcompact crossover is a sign of “strong demand.” With regards to the GX3 Pro’s sales performance, SGAP President and CEO Yugo Kiyofuji says it should be acknowledged as the brand’s new sales hero.
“For this, we are thankful for the customers’ warm acceptance of the GX3 Pro as a vehicle that is useful and trustworthy for them to be their companion in their everyday journeys,” added Kiyofuji.
A peek inside the GX3 Pro
Geely added that the GX3 Pro reached this level of popularity due to its array of features. This includes being one of the few in its class that gets a sunroof. Other bits present on this crossover are an eight-inch touchscreen, cruise control, and a reverse camera, among others.
Propelling the vehicle is a 1.5-liter DOHC gasoline four-banger that’s good for 102 horsepower and 142 Nm of torque. It either gets a five-speed manual gearbox or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
If you’re a buyer who is looking into the GX3 Pro as your next ride, then be aware that it is available in two different trims. There’s the GX3 Pro S MT which retails for Php 778,000, and the GX3 Pro Comfort which is priced at Php 878,000.

The all-new 2024 Geely GX3 Pro is a subcompact crossover. In the Philippine market, it has two different variants: the GX3 Pro S and the GX3 Pro Comfort. These are priced at Php 778,000 and 878,000 respectively.
Size-wise, this new Geely model is 4,005mm long, 1,760mm wide, and 1,575mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,480mm and a ground clearance of 185mm.
Under the hood of the GX3 Pro is a 1.5-liter inline-4 gasoline engine capable of making up to 102 horsepower and 142 Nm of torque. Power is sent to its front wheels via a five-speed manual (S) or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Geely GX3 Pro Launch
The all-new 2024 GX3 Pro was launched for the Philippine market in August 2023. As of its launch, its entry-level S trim was priced at Php 778,000, while the top-spec Comfort retailed at Php 878,000. Geely however, used to offer the model with a Php 80,000 discount. This dropped the S trims price to Php 698,000 and Php 798,000 for the Comfort.
Geely GX3 Pro Exterior
On the outside, the GX3 Pro gets a stylish exterior reminiscent of its larger Coolray sibling. It is equipped with projector halogen headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, LED taillights, a glass-printed antenna, and roof rails. This Geely then rides on a set of 16-inch alloy wheels.
Geely GX3 Pro Interior
Inside, the GX3 Pro gets enough space for five occupants. The driver is provided with a six-way adjustable seat and a 3.5-inch meter cluster. The rear cabin, in turn, is equipped with a 60:40 split folding rear seat. Occupants are then cooled by an electronic air-conditioning system, and all seats of both trims are wrapped in PVC material.
Technology & Safety Features
For entertainment, the GX3 Pro gets an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Carbitlink. Depending on the trim, the model then gets two or six speakers.
Safety for this model is provided by dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, low tire pressure warning, and central locking. The top-spec trim adds to those with traction control, stability control, hill-descent control, cruise control, and an engine immobilizer.

Propelling the GX3 Pro is a 1.5-liter gasoline mill making up to 102 horsepower and 142 Nm of torque. The S trim then gets a five-speed manual gearbox, while the top-spec variant gets a CVT.

There are four available color options for the 2024 Geely GX3 Pro. This includes red, white, blue, and gray.
The 2024 Geely GX3 Pro is up to par against many of its rivals when it comes to making power. For safety though, many have supplanted it since some of those get advanced driver-assistive bits. The Geely however, may remain attractive to some car buyers due to its affordability.
