2024 GAC M6 Pro seven-seater MPV to make PH debut in March

GAC Motor Philippines revealed last year that it will launch six new models in 2024. In fact, the first new model among its planned six additions was already launched this February–the M8 luxury minivan.

GAC Motor Philippines wants to maintain its momentum as it plans to launch the second installment of its planned model expansion. The car brand said that the seven-seater M6 Pro is set to be officially launched in the local market in March.

The car brand previewed the M6 Pro last December 2023, and GAC Motor PH has likewise started taking reservations for the said MPV. Of note, the M6 Pro is a refreshed and updated model of the GAC GN6. The 2024 GAC M6 Pro is said to be an MPV that offers a “frontier design, abundant space, latest security technology, and a comfortable cabin.” 

GAC Motor PH brand head Franz Decloedt previously confirmed that the upcoming PH-spec M6 Pro is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine that delivers 174 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. The said turbo gasoline engine is the same as the one fitted on other GAC vehicles such as the GS3 Emzoom subcompact crossover and Empow compact sedan. In terms of transmission, the 2024 GAC M6 Pro will come with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch automatic.

GAC M6 Pro to officially make PH debut in March

Among the expected features of the upcoming GAC M6 Pro include automatic LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, power adjust side mirrors, and a set of 18-inch wheels. It will also come with rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, ambient light, a panoramic sunroof, and second-row captain seats, among others.  

Decloedt added that the 2024 GAC M6 Pro is equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) as well as a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay compatibility, and a seven-inch digital gauge cluster.

The upcoming GAC M6 Pro will be offered in two variants

The GAC M6 Pro seven-seater MPV will be offered in two variants: entry-level GS trim and top-spec GL. Last year, GAC Motor PH said that the GS trim has an indicative pricing of Php 1.2 million to Php 1.3 million. The GL variant, on the other hand, has Php 1.5 million to Php 1.6 million indicative pricing.  

Expect the final specs and pricing as GAC Motor PH officially launched the M6 Pro on March 22, 2024.
