Caltex has teamed up with Visa to provide the Visa payWave contactless payment technology

With the purpose of giving a fast and secure gas up experience, Caltex, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), gives you the chance to gas up like you are in a pit stop with the introduction of the Visa payWave – a contactless, and secure payment technology in the country.

With the new service, Visa cardholders will not need your signature or PIN in order to finish the transaction, they just need wave their cards in front of readers to pay for Caltex fuel.

Filipino motorists and Visa cardholders can now purchase Caltex fuel worth Php2,000 and below in a seamless way at participating Caltex stations across the country. This means it is only for transactions below Php 2,000.

Visa cardholders will not need your signature or PIN in order to finish the transaction

“Visa always wants to reduce friction in the payment process. We are excited to partner with Chevron Philippines once again to bring seamless customer experience to motorists. Visa payWave is much quicker, more secure and more convenient than cash,” said Visa country manager for the Philippines and Guam - Stuart Tomlinson.

“Motorists gassing up using Visa payWave will definitely be able to experience quicker service in our forecourts. Motorists can transact securely and with ease, knowing that they remain in control of their card at all times,” said Peter Morris - CPI Country Chairman.

To make things more exciting for clients, Chevron, together with Visa also announced the “Drive Away a Millionaire” promo starting April 21, 2017 to July 31, 2017.

Filipino motorists and Visa cardholders can now purchase Caltex fuel worth Php2,000 and below

Motorists who will be buying Caltex fuel products (Platinum with Techron, Silver with Techron and Diesel with Techron D) – using Visa payWave have a chance to win Visa card credit worth Php1 million. Three lucky motorists will also be drawn for a 1-year Starcash worth Php 100,000.

Motorists should gas up using Visa payWave to get three raffle entries for every P500 payment increment. Meanwhile, each Visa contact transaction also entitles the customer to a raffle entry.

Moreover, an instant price of PhP 50 discount to be deducted outright from fuel purchase will also be given to lucky motorists.
